Integrity is Timeless

I’m sure we are quite familiar with the words “integrity” & “timeless” but this brief article is carefully put together to emphasize on why I came up with the title “Integrity is Timeless”.

Accurate and complete integrity comprises of authentic moral standards which includes : loyalty, faithfulness, honesty, discipline, decency, humility, patience, helpfulness, nobility, verbal & emotion control and more. It is highly impossible to acheive complete integrity without the presence of the super-natural working in you or through you, which is like a sixth sense. Possessing all the traits of integrity might seem easy but it simply impossible for a mere mortal to hold on to these traits without a strong divine presence guiding him/her. This shows that complete integrity is unattainable without the support of the spiritual realm.

I know by now you would be wondering what i mean by this so i’ll explain a bit,

“If you do not have a stronger power guiding you, you will not be able to persevere or stand firm, there will always be loopholes and you will not reach the point where you will undeniably become a person of complete integrity”.

A lot of folks claim and appear to be people of integrity but in a truthful sense, they really ain’t. They are just people who want to have and maintain a good reputation, some others think that because they have some of the attributes of integrity, it automatically means they are people of integrity. No, it doesn’t work that way. Being a little decent or honest doesn’t sum up to complete integrity since the other factors are missing, to be a man/woman of complete integrity, you have to possess all the factors. If you have one of them missing, then you still have work to do, For instance; if you have all the other attributes but do not know how to control your tongue or emotions, your complete integrity is under pressure and can easily crash, causing all the other traits to amount to nothing.

Morever, integrity are standards you hold on to in any situation and in every given circumstances, it is not meant to be upheld at your own convenience and discarded when you think it’s not necessary or when you think it won’t have any significance. People of Integrity stay on in their integrity at all times, even when it feels the most insignificant , when no one is watching, or even when there is no appluase for it. Until your integrity becomes part of whom you really are even behind closed doors and in uncomfortable situations, you cannot really be qualified to be called a person of complete integrity.

In this generation where morals are gradually going extinct, it is very important to note that integrity still rules, regardless of however it has been perceived at this time. There are people who has been known to be people of integrity in the past, in different aspects during their life-time, such people are often remembered because of their unique traits and how firm they stood to their moral standards. It requires a lot of discipline to attain such level of personality and people who possess it are always held in high esteem directly or indirectly and even ironically. In as much as morals and godliness are now being opposed in this century, Integrity will always remain timeless. Upholding morality and preserving virtues are neither outdated or obsolete, it is simply ageless. Most people who try to disregard it are basically people who have no will power, no self control, and no authentic spirituality, hence they succumb to immorality due to inability to resist several pressures and different circumstances. A lot of people fall into this category because it requires no discipline and it gives them the freedom to explore every desires of their depraved minds. Those who are determined and courageous, who withstand trials and temptations while upholding their integrity are uncommon and extraordinary. They are unique breeds who carry on golden personalities.

If you have some traits of Integrity, you are steps ahead, endeavor to be true and complete, when it comes to spiritually, go for the truth, do not allow the norms of today to distract you, pursue true greatness in every aspect if your life with complete integrity, hold on to your dignity and watch yourself become that which many people won’t be able to become. It might look like a harder and a longer route but it is absolutely worth it and if you persevere you will receive your classic trophy and became an exemplary.
